今天在国外几个手机论坛的时候，不约而同的都看到了“Nokia Editor Beta v0.4 [Cook your own Firmware] By PNHT”这个帖子。从标题来看，就是说在Nokia机器上自定义固件是可行的，而非仅仅只有三星才可以。一下引用全文，并附上翻译：

With this tool you can extract, and repack ROFS2 and UDA files.
通过这个工具，你可以解压和打包ROFS2和UDA文件。

1. Download and extract tool.
1.下载并解压NokiaEditor。

2. Open tool.
2.打开NokiaEditor。

3. Click “Open” button and select rofs2 or uda file
3.点击“Open”可选择ROFS2或UDA文件。

4. Click “Extract” button
4.点击“Extract”按键。

5. Files will be extracted to:
5.文件将被解压：
a. for rofs2 file “rofs2″ folder
a. ROFS2文件将被解压到“ROFS2”文件夹
b. for uda file “fat16″ folder
b. UDA文件将被解压到“FAT16”文件夹

6. Edit your files (don’t close NokiaEditor):

a. for rofs2 open “rofs2″ folder and edit files

b. for uda open “fat16.img” in “fat16″ folder and edit it with magiciso or winimage

7. After you edited files click “Repack” button

8. Repacked files are in program folder:

9. Rename files (delete “REB-” at the beginning of file name) :

a.比如说在ROFS2文件夹中，把REB-RM************.rofs2.***修改成RM************.rofs2.***
b. REB-RM***********.uda.*** to RM***********.uda.*** for uda file
b.在UDA文件夹中，把REB-RM***********.uda.***修改成RM***********.uda.***

10. Flash you phone with new files.

Tips for editing ROFS2 and UDA files:
关于编辑ROFS2和UDA文件的小贴士：

If you want to add RP+ to your rofs2 file copy only ”patcher.ldd” and ”patcherShadow.ldd” to sys/bin folder. After flashing install RP+ LiteVersion.
如果你想添加RomPatch到你的ROFS2文件中，只需要复制 “patcher.ldd” and “patcherShadow.ldd”到”sys/bin”文件夹中，刷机之后将会安装RomPatch LiteVersion.

If you want to edit files that are in rofs1 image - copy them to rofs2 folder and edit they will be overwriten after flashing.
如果你想要编辑ROFS1镜像，复制到ROFS2文件夹进行编辑，这些文件将会在刷机后覆盖。

Example:if you want to edit file swipolicy.ini (that file is in rofs1) copy swipolicy.ini to rofs2 folder (system/data) and edit - Repack and flash.
例如：如果你想要编辑swipolicy.ini文件（这个文件在rofs1中），请复制swipolicy.ini到ROFS2文件夹(system/data)进行编辑在重新打包刷机。

Remember that rofs2 file have maximum size (about 33mb) so if you don’t have space for your files,mods just delete other language files from rofs2 folder.
请切记，ROFS2文件有文件大小限制（最大可以是33mb），所以，如果你没有足够的空间添加自定义文件，请在ROFS2文件夹中删除其他语言文件。

Tool tested with 5530, 5800 files!!! I think it will also work with N97 files and others, it will not work with E51 files!!!Not working for your Phone ?? write to me and ill try to add support for your phone
NokiaEditor已经在5530，5800等机器上通过测试！！我认为在N97同样能通过测试，但是，E51没有通过测试。如果在你机器上无法通过测试，请联系我，添加对你手机的支持。
(译者编：看情况来说，通过测试的都是第五版的机器，第三版的E51没有通过测试，只有等待作者添加支持更多手机才行，如果可行，我用我的5700测试一下。)

ALL FILES THAT ARE ADDED/EDITED IN ROFS2 STAY AFTER HARD RESET

/resource/ find effects folder and delete – copy theme effects you want into /resource/ make sure the folder you place is called effects.

find the images and animations you want to use, place and overwrite these to /resource/apps/

find and cut a mp3 you want and rename to startup.mp3 and place in /data/
找到你想要的mp3文件,重命名为startuup.mp3复制到/data文件夹中。
next find 101F8763.txt and edit that so startup.aac is called startup.mp3 and place to \private\10202be9\
然后在\private\10202be9找到并编辑101F8763.txt文件，将startup.aac修改成startup.mp3
